This album is credited to Richard Schory, who is not the brother of Dick, it´s in fact his alter ego, or just his nickname. Well, Dick is the nickname, not Richard. Or was his real name Dick and his nickname was Richard? Anyway... Dick (or Richard) was a percussionist at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. His popularizing of percussion music in 1957, when this album was released, paved the way for an entire movement in pop music in the late 50's and early 60's that lasted up to 1969. I posted the fantastic "Music for Bang, Baaroom and Harp" earlier, so here is it´s predecessor from 1957. Please enjoy Mr. Schory´s percussion ensemble...

What's the use of having so many wonderful albums on your blog if the only last five you posted can be shared. What a waste of space.
What a pity not having access to all these jewels. I'm not a blogger, I know nothing about uploads but I have a lot of items in your wishlist and I'm ready to share them with you.

And: Aren´t those covers alone worth to post? I could have named my blog "Roman´s Easy-Listening Cover Gallery" instead, maybe I consider that... Do you have a server? Well, I don´t, so I have to use third websites to get my files up. Rapidshare unfortunately erases the files after 10 days, so there´s no need for putting up dead links. Therefore I remove them. I´m not uploading them again, because an upload takes me about 2 hours per 50 mb.
Plus: My site is not considered to be a music warehouse, where you can get everything for free. I really share a LOT! If you can grab some albums, consider yourself lucky. I BOUGHT and ripped them all by myself, on my time. I´m doing this for myself and let you have a piece of the cake. I´m not willing wasting my time on uploading, uploading and uploading again and again and again...
